Believe it or not, alot of the features that are in a MTS2000 that people clone codeplugs into MTX8000's are available to MTX radios without cloning. They are just turned off in the codeplug.
Oh yeah, just because you dump a MTS codeplug into an MTX doesn't make it an MTS. They are almost identical radios. The only things that the MTX lacks is: Flashport, Secure Capability and Current Firmware (something newer than V1.93, that's how old????) and you can't get any of that from a codeplug dump.
