Hi,
I am looking for the part number for the cystal oscillator for a VHF High Saber. I have two radios that are mising them, Frank (10-95) is nice enough to be sending me one, but I would like to get another and have both radios operational.
I have no other reference materials outside of the board, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Eric

Hi:
If you are speaking of U301 which is located
at the top of the radio. The part number
is NXN6269A and its a Ref Osc.
I do not think you will like
the price as it 273.00 User, and
even wholesale its around 190.00
These prices reflects what the Original
Cost of the radio, and manytimes you can
buy a whole radio for the price of one part.

Good Luck finding one at a cheap price!
I had a Saber 1E that all the freqs were 25KHz low and it turned out the U301 had drifted. I still have yet to find an affordable replacement ....... of course there are many whole Saber radios to be found but this gets a tad expensive.
I need to pull the sticker off the bad ref osc. x-tal to see if I can makeout any additional manufacturer info.(probably made for Motorola, I suspect)
I bet an e-mail to one or more of the below crystal manufacturers may provide a cheaper solution if they make a replacement.

May be worth the asking?
