I know there are a wide-variety of opinions on this rig and the rest of the HT series, however I like mine very much. The only thing that I do dislike is the PL decode problem. I think most owners would agree that the PL decoder is a little "sluggish" per say. You all know that it takes an extra milli-second to full-second to pick up on a transmission, especially in scan. However, if I sent this back to // flash it with the latest firmware, would this little problem be remidied, or should I just save my time? Thanks.

HT1250 Question

Mike,
I have a 1250 I use for work (the only one we kept) and because of the pl decode problem we revived our MT1000s.
Anyhow, I just got mine back from the depot for other repairs and they flashed it with the new firmware it seems to have slightly remedied the pl decode problem. Give it a go and see if it is to your satifaction.
