Question about id of new type of RSS ive seen

been looking at diff RSS lately and curious...WTH is this CPS series RSS for? is Mot starting to make just one type of RSS to program all? was at local shop other day, and they had CPS 4.0, but it didnt say what it programmed, same w/ radio tuner..are these just alignment RSS or do they actully do something?

That CPS is possibly for the HT750,HT1225,HT1550 portables and the CDM mobile radios. It is NOT a cover all radio RSS.
The "tuner" is a seprate program on the Motorols service shop version of the CPS used to align the above radios.

CPS means Customer Programming Software.
