MTX 838 Trunking system ID's.

I am trying to program a MTX838 with a system ID of 0024, the mtsx software will not allow me to enter the value. This value should be correct as it is taken from a Maxtrac820 radio that I am trying to copy the same trunking data from.

Fleet ID, Subfleet ID & Individual ID are not a problem, just the System ID.

Am I correct in assuming that this is because I do not have a System Key to match the System ID??

or is there a difference between the two RSS's with regards to the values??

If you do not have a system key the RSS will not allow you to do any trunking changes, so yes you will need a system key to do it or lab... But I would be careful using lab software now....
