Anyone ever hear of/ or have RSS for (I am NOT asking for the RSS, just want to get some info) a sp version maxtrac radio in VHF range with serial # being 428FMW****

I have dealt with a local govt. agency communications tech who services alot of them and was able to program with swapping out firmware chip, programming, and then replacing the original firmware chip.

In my opinion, this task is tedious as it risks damaging the pins EVERY time an ID or FQ needs to be changed, deleted, etc...

ANY info on this is greatly appreciated.
