While messing around with a GM300 I noticed that one of the options could be changed to channel select 1-5. My question to the board is, is this a reference to a mode as in some sort of home revert mode? And if so how does it operate? (switched to ground or some sort of input voltage ect.)
Thank You in advance

Doug,
They are used to remotely select a mode (channel).
The lines are used as BCD Channel Selector inputs.
Channel Select 1 is least significant bit and 5 is most significant bit.
Program CS lines for ACT Level = low.
When all are open = operator channel(front panel).
Ex:
CS 1 is low = mode 1
CS 2 is low = mode 2
CS 1 and 2 are low = mode 3
CS 3 is low = mode 4
CS 3 and 1 are low = mode 5
Channel Select is only available on radios with V21.00 or later software.
Hope this helps
