Go to Batlabs under the MTS2000 and read about tool-proofing.

What radios do you own?: MTS/MCS2000

um, if its showing that tool-proofing code, your screwed unless you have its origional codeplug saved, or an exact model, you can hex edit the serial number to yours and clone it in, and should work fine, but has to have same exact options. if not, you shoulda never used lab on the mts2000 series. you'll have to send in to Motorola, and they'll see the orig. info saved in it, plus what you were trying to put into it. so remember that before you shipoff.

Don't bother reading it now! You're definately screwed! You got option one above or option two, someone happens to have an archive (not just a codeplug) of a radio that's identical in features. Like the previous post, you better have some good explanations for Mot.

Another alternative would be to buy controllers from either Mot or a reputable reseller. Maybe contact Monty ([email protected]), but I doubt he can fix that.
