I am in need of a set of number buttons for a spectra A7 head (1-0, * & #). I am also looking for a ZONE button. Does anyone know what the part number is and any chance someone has a set that they are willing to part with.

Someone broke into my car last night and took my control head, I have a new frame and hardware but I am missing the number & ZONE buttons.

Thanks, Mike

Shop around ebay, i'm sure you can find a picture of the buttons. Then, if you use accesspoint http://accesssecure.motorola.com/accesspoint and click moble radios, then spectra, you can find the part numbers/prices.

I find it interesting that someone took the control head for your radio... I had my car broken into in October last year, and whomever broke in took the stereo, but left both maxtracs. Probably looked too much like CB's for someone to snag. I also still had an ICOM IC-207H for ham in the car with a remote kit, and he just unvelcroed it fromt he dash, and left it dangling...

Sorry to hear about it though, I was able to go back and get $400 from the guy who owned the parking lot where my car was. Apparently he was at McDonalds when this happened, when he was supposed to be watching the cars in the lot...

Good Luck, and again sorry... I know how it feels.

Also, check the Spectra page here at Batlabs... http://www.batlabs.com/spectra.html
I remember getting the part numbers off of that page to convert an A5 to an A7. If not, I may have a bunch of blanks I can give you... just cover the postage.
