I have a Trunked maxtrac that I need to put on a system. Nextel (owners of said system) do not have a correct TCMS download for this radio. I just need to match talkgroups, all other info is correct. So, short story is: how do I take the TG of 0093 (from the MTX-900) and turn it into the equivelant MaxTrac TG. Thanks, FatBoy

The easiest way to do change a talk group into maxtrac form is to take the "uniden" form of the talk group ex: 58416, and divide it by 16. Then, add that value to 800000. So, 58416/16=3651 3651+800000=803651 which is the maxtrac form. If you have further questions, feel free to e-mail me. [email protected]
