will maxtrac mobile radios will program o frequencies in the 50-54 amatuer 6 meter band? how about HT's?

Any Maxtrac or Radius 42-50 low band can be modded for 6m. Portables can not without major modification.

I have modified several Maxtracs/Maratracs/Radius from the 42 50 to Six, and they work OK, I have had better luck removing and shorting the RX coils to get better RX sens. ButIf you just follow the batlabs suggestions, they really work pretty well...

I have used the maxtrac with no changes to hardware are worked ok.
