Well, I'm thinking that it just might help if we new what kind of antenna and what kind of mount. Thats like saying "I have this engine in my car. Can you tell me what gasket it needs?"

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"

well I am not too sure on the antenna type its just a vhf antenna 146-160 megahertz, its a permanent mount where you drill a hole and run the cord and has the 3/4 inch hole. Not sure if this helps. I will find out tomorrow what kind exactly it is.

It's probably a normal NMO mount. However the gasket is going to be specific to the make/model/brand of the antenna. The size of the base determines the size of the gasket. Many of them are pretty damn near the same though.

Pop on down to your local NAPA auto parts store (or regional equivalent) with your unit and ask for an "O" ring that is a snug (not tight) fit. Best case, they will have individual units for sale, worst is you buy a package use what you need and put the rest away (where you'll never find 'em when you need 'em). I've used o-rings on several re-installations (old mounts) and never had a problem. If using the "Motorola" type mounts, where the seal is recessed in the mount, fit will be critical, so measure first, and take it with you to the shop.
Gettin' too old for this... but still kickin' anyways
