p1225 2ch to 16ch

I know this has posted before but there must be a way to convert the radio to program to 16 channel. The switch is 16ch and I know of another person who is doing it but he won't talk. If anybody knows let me know.

Check the model number on the radio. Anyone can put a 16 channel decal on the top and a 16 channel knob on it. You can compare the model number to the models on batlabs. If it is a A model it is 2 channel, C model is a
16 channel radio. If you have a 2 channel, the only way to make it a 16 channel is to
buy the modification board for it. The phone
