Saber Batt 4592

Can anyone tell me where i can find the above battery (the short one)it seems everyone has the med and hicap ones but not that one.

You can get a 4595 (1800Mah for $40.00 ) here: or a 4593 (1100Mah for $50. 2.5" high)

4592's are either 2.25 or 2.5 inches high, depending on type battery and manufacturer. I use a W&W 4592 in NiMH rated at 1000mAh which is short and lasts a long time if you don't use it to transmit much.

I'd try W and W manufacturing. I just picked up a 4595/ 2700 Mah NmH pack for 52 dollars from them., I'm sure they have something in the shorter size for less. They are at http://www.ww-manufacturing.com

Hi.

The NTN4592C NiCd battery has only 725mah capacity. It don`t last very long with power levels about 1W. Try an NTN7014 NiMH-battery (same size, 950mah capacity), but still not suitable for high-power operation.

Please don`t confuse the modelnumbers. The 1800mah-battery is an NTN4992C-brick. The small one is an NTN4592C (same size like NTN7014A, but NiCad and only 725mah).
