NEED PRICE!! for installs

Hey You guys,

Me and my friend are tryin to figure out what we should charge a customer for basic install, like lightbars, wigwag, antenna,a console and radio.

What do you guys charge? and how much do you guys charge per hour?

Generally flat rate is how I quote the labor time.

dashmount radio $150

remote mount radio $250

full setup - lights, siren, console etc etc $500 - $1500 depending on how involved it is.

Robert, the places in the LA area that do """" Professional Installs"" get for that work from 750 to 1500 depending on the quality of the work performed. I would be very carefull of doing an install for money because if something goes wrong (and you don't have business insurance) then you will be liable. Shopkeepers insurance covers if the car burns up even if you did something bad but not criminal.

Hey stan, we are gonna be working at a shop of these guy, and he has insurance, we are just there to help him, I think we are installing on a crown vic.
