I have a minor annoyance with my HT1000. It would seem that all the settings for receive light enable are on, but when I key up another radio on the same freq, no red?/green? receive light, its just dark. Its just plain FRS freqs with no PLs or signalling enabled. Thanks...JM

It should light up green on receive. Does the red light come on for transmit? I have seen where one part of the LED goes bad, and the other works fine. Also, I've seen one of the legs lift from the flex assembly, just resolder & you're all set in that case.

Check to see if a survellence mode has been enable somewhere in the RSS. Usually the mode is global, and it will override any other settings. That's usually the thing, or the LED went bad.

I think he is reffering to the Busy Light.
The busy light is enabled or disabled for all channels in the Radio Configuration screen.
