1998 Chevy Blazer Center Console

Hi,

Anybody have experience installing a center console setup in a 1998 S10 Blazer? I've been looking around and like the Havis consoles, but my problem is the space between the seats. I've measured about 8 inces but it looks Like I could squeeze 9 inches between them. Anybody have to do this, or will it just not work?

Hello,

I work security at our local hospital we use a 98 blazer and yes it is possible to put a console in between the seat but ill warn you now it will tear the seats up!!!! so what i did was moved the console up so that there is more room for the seats to move back and forth without ripping the seats more than they already are!!! one thing though if you smoke you are not going to be able to use the ashtray but other than that it looks pretty good ....when i get a chance ill send you a pic( blazer is in the shop with a bad fuel pump) but when it gets back ill get a pic for ya
