What kind of pc are you using? You cannot use a pentium(586) its to fast! You need a 386/486 x 33 in True DOS. A slow computer! You cannot use a windows dos either. Was or did your saber work before? you have a RIB box by? (motorola)? the rib battery is new? keep on talking....

Hi:

If you are not able to restore the Code Plug,
I can do it for 125.00+ shipping regardless how corrupt it may be.

HI:

Your Error code may be a COPE problem. Sometimes if you have the " original" code plug you can restore the radio. I suspect you did not save the original code plug, otherwise you would not have made a request for help.

You can try and get a Code Plug that is
the " Same " as the original, and try to
restore the radio. If you have a stable
Computer programming Platform, that should
work.

Basically the radio probably shows all ff's
in the primary code plug

If you run into a constant problem either in the Read or Write process, the primary CORE
may have been corupted, and would require
some bench service.

There are special tools required to restore
damaged CORE and COPE problems that go beyond
the normal rss issues if you are not able to
Write or Read the radios code plug.

Try using a good code plug if you can find one, if that does not work, best to seek either someone in your area that is Certified
or if that fails, I can address the issue
for you.

As always, its assumed you have a good
386-486-25 Series Computer running DOS 6.22
( NOT UNDER WINDOWS ) and a good Rib Box, preferably Motorola, good power supply, good
battery, and of course a known good program
cable......

There is a remote possibility your RSS may
be damaged as well, and if you have the Original Disc's, you might try re-installing
them as well.
