Quantar back to back question

I am hoping that someone out there can tell me how to turn 2 Quantars into a back to back repeater configuration. I have a VHF Quantar with a basic wildcard option that I need to put back to back with an 800 MHz Quantar station. Please if you know how this can be done, including pinouts for the required cabling, and any software changes that need to be done in the RSS. Thank you in advance. I can possibly be done, I have done simmular linking on MTR2000 and MSR2000 and others.

Sorry I forgot to put "E&M signalling" in my post. You are right, a simple 6 wire hookup and maybe a resistor pad to adjust the audio levels if needed. I do not remember the pinout for the E&M.
