How to enable MDC1200 PTT ID on gm300?

i had a gm300 some years back, and i watched the guy program it, i liked mdc1200 and wanted him to put it in, so he went into the signaling options screen of the program, thats all it took, there is also a cool feature where you can decode mdc1200 ids and associate a 2 digit display number to each one, and when it hears those id's it will flash the associated 2 digit id on the screen, i think that was "call list menu" might hold 128 ids.

You have an 8 channel radio, or quite possibly an 8 channel radio converted to 16 channels. However, it still has the 8 channel logic board, thus preventing it from having any signalling features.

You know a radio with signalling like MDC-1200 from radios without it by model numbers like M43GMR29C2AA...The 29 means expanded logic board, and the c stands for 16 channels.
