Mitrek NP1, NP2, etc buttons? What are these FOR?

I'm going to sound like a lamer. Oh, well.

I saw a Mitrek control head that has a row of frequncy select buttons, but also has another row on top of "NP" buttons. What do these NP buttons do??

NP = Non-Priority, on a systems 90 control head that is how you change channels.

Actually if there is a row of mode select AND a row of NP select, then it is a systems 90 control head with the scan option, not just freq select..

FHP used/uses these where the astro is not up..
