I recently acquired a D43KXA Spectra A4 model that is a remote mount with the external encryption box. I would like to convert it back to a dash mount radio and get rid of the control cable and encryption box. What would I need in order to achieve this? Just an Interconnect Board?

Thanks to all for the great help you have provided with other queries I've made.

As an update, I was looking thru the archives and found a similar post concerning the A4 back in November. In that post someone had indicated that the correct interconnect board for the A4 Spectra is Motorola part number HLN6285A. I searched this number on ACCESSPOINT and it's a good number, but doesn't indicate for what type radio.

Could someone in the know please verify this part as the correct interconnect board.

Thanks,
Pete
