Anyone ever work, repair, or have a MODAT decoder from a PD around the 70's-80's era??

Some places still use MODAT today. What do want to know about it?

Well, actually, I know a quite a bit about it. I am wondering what the original decoder units use to look like, and maybe if someone has one for sale...?
