HELP with Ford Explorer dash lights

Post by Jay G. »

Ok here's the problem. Of course, my truck has to give me a hard time!
One of the backlights for the speedometer went out. It is dark only in a small segment of the speedometer. Is this a replaceable bulb? is it an LED? Anyone have any clues? This is more of a nusense then anything.

Thanks!

It's probably a standard incandesant #194 bulb.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"

http://www.explorerforum.com I replaced mine and IIRC it was a 194. When you're in there replace them all.

Depending on the year, some use the 194 and others use the "wheat" lamp (i don't remember the number- looks like a small 194).
