Has anyone seen these controllers for sale?

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dl ... 1698707922

I was wondering, will this allow me to convert my VHF MT2000 A4 to a VHF MTS2000? Can anyone enlighten me as to what I would need to do? Would I need to use lab tools, or is there a way to use this new controller with legitimate RSS? If there is info about this already on this site or another, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Craig

If the controller is truely uninitialized, then when you install it into your radio, you go to the normal rss service menu and initialize it from there.

however, this does not look like a MTS2000 controller to me. It has an Atmel Flash chip instead of the Intel chips which means that it is not Flashport upgradable. Also there is no socket for a securenet module which leads me to believe that this is a HT1000, MT2000 or MTX8000 controller.

This is my personal opinion as I have no literature on these. However if you check the Accesspoint site, there is no part with this number, probably because it is discontinued.

What's that greek phrase Mr Brady told Greg Brady? Buyerous Bewareous?

You might also take a look at the history and feed back of the seller. I have seen this Ebay ID several times in the past trying to sell Motorola stuff but there is no feed back and the ID is disguised. It makes you wonder whaaaassssuuuuup?

That controller board being offered in that auction is a MT2000 controller board (NCN6147A). It is a current part that is available for $270.00 on exchange with AAD. It is not a flash upgradeable, not securenet capable board.
