Wow! My dream-mobile! But there is something that must be invented to let us use such a vehicle :roll:
The 'SpouseShield'.
This should be a special kind of ear-plugs that selectively alow you to keep tracking of all air-traffic while squelching/muting effectively, wife's *^&%$*&%#(&% loud comments! :razz: :lol:

Take a look at the first chair...
There is one Motorola mic for each radio!

I would have thought they would have had headsets for each dispatcher! Imagine the insane amount of chatter coming from all of those radios in an emergency?

Where is a console when you need onet...

Also, a disadvantage to using a bus is this: if the engine dies, the whole unit is worthless. If it is a trailer, you can get another rig to pull it ASAP.

FEMA has a communications vehicle that is incredibly equiped with Communications Gear.
It was trailered and there was a Diesel-Semi looking truck to pull it.

It was highlighted in an issue of "MONITORING TIMES" a couple of years back. Very interesting reading.
