I believe in posts many moons back, I read one that indicated a 16 channel Ht-1000 could be increased to 48 channels by using a MT-2000 codeplug. Anyone out there have specfics on how to do this (If my memory is correct)?

Thanx,

Yes it is posible to convert a 16 channel HT1000 to a 48 channel by using an MT2000 codeplug.
But you also need to use an MT2000 command board to put the codeplug into or you wil end up with a 48 channel paper weight.
