Impala Power Plug Wanted

Post by KennB »

Ok all you experts out there, heres one that I just know you will know. With the police package wiring in the 2000-2004 Impala's Chevy provides wiring to under the hood for siren, headlight flasher and i believe grill lights if so desired. The plug for the flasher is no problem, but there is the 4 pin female plug for the siren speaker and grill lights that is just sitting there under the power point access. My question is, has anyone found a mate for this plug ? I talked to the local Chevy dealer here and they had no clue, short of going through all the wiring diagrams for the car. In the earlier Impala's they used to run this plug up to the front by the grill but now that its stopped where it is, its a pain to get to the wires.[/list]

There is a mate plug, it is usually ordered with the car as one of the police otions but you can buy it from the dealer, I did. it cost about 29.00.

Take care
