Service Mode for GTX

Anyone know if there is a service mode for the GTX and how to activate it? My rss won't read from it, and I'd like to know how to get the codeplug version. Thanks.

There is a "test mode", but it's not the same as the MCS/MTS radios. It will not show you the model, serial & other numbers, it just simply goes straight to showing "4 1" in the display. You can access the mobile with the same shorting plug used for trunking Maxtracs. You can also access both the portable & mobile test modes by powering them up while hooked to an unpowered RIB.

I had this problem with a GTX mobile a year or so ago and had to prog another CP into it then it worked fine and still is.Mabey that will do it.
