Spectra does not suspend scan

I just picked up my first Spectra.
When i have mike off hook it does go into monitor but does not suspend scan i do have it set up correct

nope. you have to tell it
"scan off hook = disable" in the RSS scan options

I thaugh i set it up correct in RSS maybe it is backwards from what i set it as

If you want it to scan with the mic in your hand set to "enable" if you want it to stop scanning when you pick up the mic set it to disable.
