Is Jotto Desk same as Gam-Johnson slide-in-place of ashtry?

I currently have a Gamber-Johnson MCS-VERT-CV, a console for Crown Vics with Bench seats which slides into the ash tray tracks after ash tray is removed. This is a verticle console.

I see that Jotto Desk as one very similar which they call Verticle Consoles.

Are these the same consoles? I can't seem to find it with Gamber Johnson anymore and wondered if Jotto Desk had taken that console over.

Oh, does anyone have experience with these consoles? Are they sable or to the rattle around ?

Not the same. The Jotto-Desk Contour Console is much nicer and more solid than that particular GJ model.

It appears in the catalog that the Jotto Desk 10" model will fit the CV with bench seats. But, the " Contour " model is shown only with a F-series Ford truck. Do you know if the Contour model is also availble for the CV?

I have the Impala Contour console by jotto, the fit an finish is perfect and it slides into where the ash tray was (before I removed it) and even uses the same mount points, it got installed in minutes.

Definatly recommend.
