I have a Desktrac with Radius radios in it. I think I have a problem with the front board. Does anyone have the pin out for J8 and J9 of the radios so I can measure voltages? I do not have the book. Thanks for your help.

What radios do you own?: Progreso soup can with CRT

UHF Desktracs I used to have all had GP300 chassis inside but were NOT compatible with the standard GP300 RSS. We tried it one time and got a *#$%^&@!! answer on the colmputer monitor for our trouble.

The books for these radios are available from Motorola.

If in doubt, just plug in a radius control pannel and program the radio. Also there is a three position switch behind the Desktrac front panel to select which radio's SCSI line (programming line)is connected to the standard mic jack pinout on the front, then program with the Radius RSS.

Motorola DeskTrac Repeater and D.C. Remotes

Post by Susan157 »

 Have had both the vhf repeater and the vhf
remote desktrac. I found with the add on control
head that they were able to talk to them with the maxtrac
RSS.The maxtrac read 16 ch.units for tx and rx.
DeskTrac only had 1 ch.
