I would like to know if there is a simple mod i can do to a GM900 so that the radio will come on after the power is reapplied.
With out having to have to switch the radio on at the front power switch.

The radios ar used on a telemetry system and the radios have to switched on at the front panel if the battery backup has gone down and then the power comes back on.
It costs a lot to go and switch the radios all on again about 50 of them in a 500km radius.

THANKS

I believe the GM900 is the equivalent to the MCS2000 radio. You should just have to program the radio to ignition-"soft power off" with the RSS(F4,F3,F3,F3 from the main menu) and jumper pin 15 to the constant power. The radio should then turn back on when power is restored.

We had to do about the same thing on remote controlled Spectra radios. I put a jumper in the power on circuit in the "head". The Spectras would come back on after a "rolling blackout" with out having to go out and turn on the radios in person.
