Code3 RVM Dual Strobe

Post by jedi_saber »

Please forgive me for asking this, as I try to stay away from code3 products as much as I possibly can...

Does anyone have any idea how much this dual linear strobe puts out, wattage wise for the supply / per tube so I could get a comparative number for the brass? I called code3 but their techs "don't know" :-?

This applies to both the two head dash and the four head strobe packs they put in the excaliber bars, and MX7000 upgrade or factory bars.

15 watts per outlet
If the lights are out when you leave the station and then come on the second you key up, you know you have enough power.

Thanks for the responses! Is this even worth looking into? A colleague really likes this and wants to put it in his G car... My concern is that it's got tinted windows and that it would have a hard time shining through the tint... I recommended LEDs instead, but hell... Anyone have any experience with these - are they comparable to the selfcontained dashmisers (which btw suck through the tint on our cars)?

They are brighter and are used through tint all the time out here.
