Has anybody interfaced a 1225 to the Trident raider and experienced audio drop outs while in Conventional mode. We have a small trunked / conventional system which has a problem where it appears the DPL / CTCSS are not being detected and decoded by the Trident. We have gone over the alignment proceedure multiple times with no luck. The 1225 always hears the mobile but the Trident will only key up on a some inputs. The squelch and RX data adjustmentsdont really make much difference. Any help is appreciated.

To decode properly the Trident needs raw de-emph receiver audio to the PL/CTCSS decoding section. Make sure the settings for the receiver audio output of the R1225 is correct, Trident's instructions leave a lot to be desired. If you give me the hookup I can determine if there is a problem. I have lots of R1225 interfacing exp.

The set up is per the Trident manual. RX audio on one RSS screen is EIA while the other is De emph.. Shouldn't these both be flat?..This unit is over 3 hours from me so I have to answer by memory (not the best..HeHe)..I will get the template and look at it again. We do have 3 other units in the EXACT set up right next to us and they all work and are "set up" the same as ours..Something is messed up..is there a jumper or something we need to change in the 1225 to use the Trident?
