First spectra radio-need help please

Hi. I have just received an 800mhz spectra dash mount that I want to use as a scanner in my car. I had a maxtrac before and all I needed for power was to use a motorola power cable. This radio also has a db15 connector on the back. I cannot get the spectra to power up with just the power cord. Does this radio also need the ignition sense wire connected to the db15 in order to power up this radio? Sorry for the dumb question guys but this is new to me. Thanks for any help!

yep.. It goes into the back .it is also the speaker connection

It is pin #5 for igniton

speaker is 6 and 7
