Advice Needed

Post by IK9C5 »

I have an area that is 36"x36" that I need to mount some diffrent antennas for the flowing equipment.

1. 800mhz / 150vhf crossband repeter , 155.1600, 155.5050
2. 800mhz / 450uhf crossband repeter, FEMA (maybe)
3. 800mhz repeter 856.xxxx, 821.xxxx
4. 800mhz conventional radio 856.xxxx, 821.xxxx
5. 150 vhf repeter, ( dont have freq.s yet)
6. 150 vhf conventional
7. 2m/440cm

Not all of the equipment will be on at the same time. It will depend on the incendent.

1. Team Training, 800 repeter or 150 repeter depending on the area
2. SAR Incendent, 800 / 150 crossband or 800 repeter or 150 conventional depending on the area
3. FEMA 800 / 450 crossband ( maybe)
4. Car to Car in transit 800 or 150

The repeter would be turned on after getting on scene and turned off after it is over.

Now that you have the flowing information, I need some advice.

How should I mount them and in what arangement?

What kind of antennas should I use? Mobil, Base, Ect.

I would be willing to mount and unmount a base type antenna if it would be a better way to go for the crossband and the repeters.

For the crossband, do I use one antenna with a duplexer or two diffrent antennas?

Man, a lot of questions :o

Thanks For All.......
