does any one know how I can correct a ERR 0 81 on a saber 3

Ok I created a new codeplug and still no luck. Is this a repairable radio?

it should be . there may be a problem with the front shield , have you checked and made sure all of the ribben cables are in ??? also are you using a stable programming platform ??? cables , rib , computer , have you tryed just programming 12 channels into it ?? how many channels are you trying to program into it ??

i have a saber II/III that will crash if i load more than 12 channels in it ..the memory in the front shield is bad , it will still work , but its a 12 channel radio , with a display .

without having the radio in my hand , its kind of a big guessing game ..

What kind of a saber III is it, I have seen an error like that if I can remember right when I used Saber RSS on a System Saber III by accident.

You mentioned the Wrong RSS, Its possiable,I got the unit with SYSSABER and SABER RSS. Any thoughts?

Make sure you are NOT running the RSS in Windows, that can cause this kind of problem.
