Tips on 2004 durango install please

Post by sglass »

I finally bit the bullet and bought a new vehicle

ended up going with a dodge durango sxt

I'd like input from others as to what my current limitations are, as well as places to install stuff.

I'm looking at maybe an a 110watt spectra

and maybe a mid power uhf a7

I'm going to need some serious proding to get me to drill it

Seth,
Havis makes a couple of consoles that are specific to the new Durangos. They're designed to fit into place with very few modifications (if any) to the vehicle interior and give you an OEM feel. They're available in 7, 12, and 17" faceplate combinations.

PM me if you want pricing.

Actually there is a specific mount to use with the 04-05 durango. The airbag sensor is specific to the seat. If you were to unbolt the seats it sends an error code to the airbag computer.

I think Havis makes the mount

look how long we had to prod Gerbil to drill holes! (but that's not saying much) god, and he had a jeep!

i'm of the philosophy that if it's YOURS, and you want it to look pimp....do it right. drill the hole, mount it....and then it's done.
