Most foreign cars are ground side switched... But... Most higher end cars everything is controlled by the body computer so cutting into the light circut may throw a code or cook the computer.. That may be a question for a dealer or someone with a service manual.

Besides does a saab convertable really need wig wags??LOL

I'd say away from installing on a car that still has a warranty.

All GM's are not the same.. The Impala, grand prix, buick Le saber and century are the same car more or less. But the head light wiring is not the same. Impala is ground side switched and needs a DLR cut out to work. Grand prix is a positive switched system. The century is a ground side switched and no DLR.

Unless you know the specific auto and the exact circut you may do damage. Ive seen it happen. Even with the same car 2002 tarus is ground side switched, 2003-2004 are positive switched. Same with GM it changes from year to year and model to model.

Another thing to consider is the vehicle's voltage. I know it sound's crazy, but make sure it is a true 12 volt system before doing any wiring to it. Some of the foriegn cars now coming out have 36 or 48 volt systems (Mercedes, for example) and standard 12 volt equipment may not work in them. Also, if you contact Whelen or Fed Sig direct, they would be able to tell you whether or not they have a module for your particular application.
