Federal 600151 P/S

Post by KuhnElectronics »

I just obtained a Federal 600151 strobe power supply..

It came with no wiring harness so, can anyone give me any idea how to hook this thing up. Also, what order does the strobe wires connect?

Thanks,
Nick

Nevermind......I got bored and opened it up and figured it out... I hooked 2 strobes up, and they flash one cycle, then one shuts off..is it a bulb problem or p/s problem???

P.S..Lights were reallly bright in my house...lol

Do huh?,

What kind of power supply are we using, topped by how many outlets is this, 4 or 6. There should be a label which shows, Pos. / Neg. FUSE then action or something similar.

One cycle could be a power issue, a dead battery can cause the supply to only create enough drive for one cycle till the two CAPS are drained and cannot be refilled due to not enough voltage. Or depending on the model year, it may have "all or nothing" protection. Where all outlets have to be in use to allow function. Don't know much about them federal sig's Wish you the best.

CHART
If the lights are out when you leave the station and then come on the second you key up, you know you have enough power.
