Zetron 38 Max Question

Post by BDB »

I picked up a zetron 38 max repeater controller at a hamfest and I do not know the password. Is there a way to reset the unit to factory defaults ?

Thanks,
Bret

I tried that already. I'm looking for a hardware reset . When I purchased it the owner wasn't sure what the password was and gave me several ones that he thought may be it but so far no joy.

Ok I reset the memory by removing U15 from the battery back up (dallas chip) The password is not the default however (12123). I have the manual for the 38a but not the 38 max so I am wondering if the default password is different between the two ?

no joy on that password either. I have contacted Zetron. Hopefully they will shed some light on the problem.
