Equipment & airbag zones

Just clicked around on a link given in another thread, and I found this from GM... the airbag deployment zones and where they recommend (and not recommend) equipment be mounted.

Do such diagarams exist for other vehicles, namely, the 2005 Nissan X-Terra and 2005 Ponitac Montana?

honestly? probably not. i don't think that pontiac or nissan planned on those being used for internal equipment mount anyway. Considering that the link you're referring to states "9C1" & "specialized", that would lead me to believe that GM did that BECAUSE the vehicle is a police package vehicle. Until they come out with serious police package crap for the Xterra & other thing you mentioned...which i HIGHLY doubt.... i don't think you'll find anything like that .

Those are consumer line vehicles, not meant for large amounts of internal equipment being mounted anywhere, so i would stick to common sense and as little as possible near airbags.
