Spectra Base Power Supply HLN4193A - Ignition Sense Plug

Post by STicKman »

Anyone know what type of connector/pin this is on the supplied power cable for the HLN4193A Power Supply in order to feed the ignition sense to the spectra?

Utilizing the accessory vehicle ignition sense/speaker kit, 3080091M01 you can interface to the above power cable if I could identify this single position connector for ignition sense. It looks like a molex style?

Did you ever find the part number for this connector? I am also looking to order some.

Thanks!

The HPN4001B Power Supply is manufactured by Astec P/N AE210-3101 for Motorola. Astec can be reached at (888) 41 ASTEC, ask for Ken in Engineering, he may be able to answer this.

I decided against using this factory supplied type, but instead replaced this with a single-pin weather pack style connector. This provided a better fit and has a means of strain relief in order to protect the red wire protruding from the plug end.

The Astec P/N for the Spectra DC Harness from the Power Supply to the radio is 36120000560.
