Spectra visor mic install

Spectra visor mic install

Greetings –

I’m trying to hook up a remote visor mic and remote PTT to the rear accessory connector on a Spectra C-9 remote mount with a System 9000 Head.

I’m using pin15 MIC HI and pin 8 DIG GND for the mic and pin13 PTT and pin 8 DIG GND for PTT. This works fine.

The problem is when you use the hand-held mic. The PTT on the Hand-held mic opens the channel but you are going out the visor mic and not the hand held mic.

Any thoughts? :roll:
