Just wondering if anyone could give me some help. I have a cdm1550ls+ with model # AAM25SKF9DP5AN. When I read the radio with CPS version 6.01 it does not give me quick call capabilities and I am not able to enter more than 18 channels/personalities. Heres where it gets weird, another identical cdm1550ls+ when read with my CPS 6.01 (programmed by authorized Motorola dealer initially) shows that I can assign quick call's and more than 18 channels that were not present on the other radio. Just some more info the codeplug versions on both radios are different. The versions are 2.00 and 2.01. Could someone please help me because I would like to get the codeplug with the QCII and the extra channels identical in both radios.

If you check the model number of your 'identical' CDM unit, you will see it ends with '6AN' as opposed to the '5AN' model you're having problems with. The '5AN' model will not do any QCII/MDC signalling in conventional mode, nor will it go beyond 18 channels...this is normal.
