Post by [email protected] »

One of the local cities donated there old swat truck to us to build into a mobile communications truck.. Its missing a few lenses in the interior lights. Anyone know who makes these and where to find them?

The housings look to have brand names on them and model and/or DOT numbers in the lenses. Looks to be a standard truck body flush mount lamp in the chrome version. If the switch is a factory option, great, but it can be duplicated with another of the same model switch that's in the lens you have. Just get the name and part number off the pieces you do have and search the internet for the info. If you can build a comm unit, you can fix a light.

One of the brand names in that business will be Grote, and any truck supply place will have the item or its equivalent in another brand. There are several other brands out there and some of the lenses interchange between brands. They all have internet sites.
