they are nice radio's, and if you get some of the field programmable batteries, great for updating in the field...

Ive got a UHF and and VHF HT1550. They are nice radios. The FPP makes them even nicer. You need to set up the FPP using the CPS though. Getting the programmable battery was easy

Hey Fowler, you finally got that UHF 1550 huh? I guess I still need to pick up the VHF version...one of these days....out of all the radio's I've traded, sold, etc. I still have the 1550, so that must mean something...
