Saber Parts Help Needed....

Post by kb0nly »

Anyone know the part number of the knob type screw on this cable? Or if you have one, or something similar, to spare drop me a PM or Email. It's an RF adapter cable for the Saber, Motorola part number NTN5517A.

I built a programming cable using a hirose adapter but i don't have any screws to attach it. Thought this would be a nice way to make it easy to secure and remove for programming.

Otherwise, if you have some other suggestions for an attachment screw let me know. Was hoping to do it so a screwdriver isn't needed for programming, lol.

This isn't the same thumbscrew that is pictured but it IS for the Saber. P/N 0380373B96. $3.30 and in stock.

Same thread as is used to hold D15, D25, serial, etc. connectors to the
plug on the back of a desktop computer.

Is this the longer thumbscrew type? I will check on that part number!

Oh? Then it's like the Genesis series, they used the same thread and i used nice d-sub connector thumbscrews on those programming cables.

I might still have one to try, thanks for the tip!
