CDM 1550 LS programming in Conventional mode

Post by Radioguy2 »

Hi Gang,

Just purchased a CDM 1550LS UHF radio that will do both conventional and trunking. The Previous owner had it set up in the trunking mode and I've spend some time today attempting to change the setting so that I can program it to the Conventional mode so as to use it on 403-430 UHF Frequency. Does anyone knwo exactly where I should be looking to change this in the programming software, it's got so many options I don't knwo where to start...Thanks for your time..

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

start entering you frequencies under the conventional personalities, then under personalities assigned to zone, assign the personalities to a zone, it's that easy. you can delete the trunking personalities if you want and the zone for the trunking.
